India is a great country with a rich cultural tradition that influenced their cuisine. All Indians are cooking with commitment because they consider cooking an important ritual.
Indian cuisine is one the most famous in the world. It is characterized by the use of many spices, vegetables, grains and fruits. Indian cuisine uses the whole pallet of flavors- spicy, sour, sweet, hot. Among them are: coriander, turmeric, ginger or cumin. Every spice is used for a reason. They also like to add in their dishes herbs that have beneficial effects on the body.


Curry is considered to be the famous and most used spice in India. Indian cooker likes to add a combination of all the spices to give the dish an irresistible flavor.
Rajma Masala is my favorite Indian food. It is made using raw kidney beans, onions, tomatoes and a special mix of spices called “rajma masala powder”. This mix includes dry mango, nutmeg, coriander, cinnamon, ginger, etc. Rajma is always eaten with rice.

Chapati is a flatbread made with whole wheat flour known as "atta", mixed into dough and water.
